Hello Shelley, You are very brave. I too am a cradle Catholic and drifted away from regular church attendance. I believe that that has a lot to do with my unhappy marriage right now, beginning with my (unsuitable?) choice of a mate. The past year has been rough, weight loss, medication for anxiety, sleepness nights, the kids are affected etc. Reading your page though, and I chanced upon it,allowed me to see that my problems aren't as unsurmountable as it sometimes seems. So far God has blessed me with good health, which I sometimes take for granted by staying up late at night surfing the net! I cried when I read your page. Partly because you're so brave and partly because I was reminded of my mom, who passed away 16 yrs ago when I was just 21. She was a very devout Catholic and very strong in her faith. Hello Shelley, Seems we have a lot in common. Recently I was hospitalized for a removal of an aneurysm from my brain. I'e been told I was "lost" for about 5-7 min., but God returned me home.
